Established in 1986, Texecom’s award-winning products cover every aspect of external and internal security requirements. This includes a full range of motion detectors, control panels, perimeter protection devices, fire detectors, external sounders and wireless peripherals.

Texecom Connect, Texecom’s new connectivity platform, opens a new world of possibilities for professional security equipment, delivering a comprehensive suite of security solutions for connected homes and buildings.

Texecom is a Halma Company. Halma makes products for hazard detection and life protection and is a market leader in specialist electronic, safety and environmental technologies. You’ll find Texecom’s intruder alarm systems protecting businesses and people around the world. This British tech company’s generating export sales of over £5 million per year and is growing strongly, in European, African and South American markets.

I’m now looking for an experienced export sales strategist to lead the export sales team and deliver growth, via a well-established distributor channel.

A key role in the company’s growth

Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll lead and support a small team of senior sales managers in delivering profitable growth in their respective international regions.

Intruder alarm technology and markets are constantly developing, so this is a role that will constantly inspire and challenge your ability to identify / grow strategic opportunities.

International success relies on a high performing distributor network and you’ll be working at senior levels, in prominent organisations, to maintain flourishing partnerships.

Expanding the distributor network, especially in African and South American growth markets, adds a further dimension - in a role that really is central to the company’s success.

You

We’re looking for someone with a strong export sales background, who’s already directing a successful team and is no stranger to managing international distributor networks.

You’ll be a proven sales strategist and you’ll have a great instinct for international tech markets, which may or may not have been gained in the security sector.

Certainly, you’ll be able to point to a record of delivering profitable growth and you’ll be comfortable negotiating commercial agreements with businesses around the world.
