Heat Pumps Key Account Manager - Central & Southern Italy

Our client, a leading Global Manufacturer of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) products and services, is expanding their successful Sales Team in Italy.

Due to the extensive growth and demand of air to water heat pumps for both domestic and commercial use, and the latest funding announced by the Italian government, they are looking to recruit an experienced sales/technical sales professional.

As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing the air to water heat pumps sales growth in central and southern Italy, working directly with B2B customers, as well as partnerships with wholesalers, large installers, and consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop relationships with both new and existing HVAC customers for heat pumps products, targeting real estate, construction, energy service companies, investors, et
  • Provide consultants with product support on new products, services, and solutions to generate spec–in opportunities
  • Handle and develop promotions and project management for key customers and large installers
  • Undertake technical and commercial analysis of competitors’ spec-in during bidding stage
  • Support and train the wider Air Conditioning Sales Team on heat pumps products to improve knowledge and enable the introduction of heat pumps products to specific projects
  • Organisation of Technical Seminars in order to increase the knowledge of heat pump solutions
  • Development of relationships at all levels within key accounts organisation of other company business units

Experience:

  • University graduate preferred, with an Engineering study background in Mechanical or Electrical fields of building design
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar position, developing technical issues and commercial relations with customers
  • Good knowledge of the HVAC market, and heat pumps experience is preferred
  • Experienced with relationship management and ability to work with all levels of the client organisation
  • B2B high-level contacts and networking
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Strongly result oriented and focused on sales target achievement
  • Good English written and speaking skills
