Ipsotek Ltd, an ATOS Company, are a leading manufacturer of Artificial Intelligence driven video analytics. They are now looking to expand their International Sales Team, with the recruitment of an experienced Business Development Manager responsible for sales growth throughout Northern Europe, focusing on high-end customer solutions.

 

Description:

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing Ipsotek's presence and revenue in Northern Europe.
  • The BDM will be expected to maintain and grow relationships with security integrators, strategic partners and end customers to present and sell Ipsotek technology, and to help develop the company’s strategy when approaching the region.
  • You will also be expected to develop relationships across the wider Atos group within BDS, across industry teams, and with key account executives to enable them to sell Ipsotek more effectively.
  • You will be expected to learn Ipsotek's software and related systems needed for installation of a CCTV system to help advise and sell to customers. They will be expected to sell consultatively, designing the overall solution based on customer requirements and product capabilities.
  • The candidate will identify opportunities and work alongside Ipsotek presales to create proposals and documentation to close sales. They will also be expected to work closely with Ipsotek project management teams to ensure smooth delivery and to help manage expectations through the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • To close new business for Ipsotek Video Analytics in the Northern Europe region.
  • To enable Atos sales teams in the region to sell more and include Ipsotek in more deals and frameworks.
  • To develop relationships with key accounts, key strategic partners and end customers and solidify Ipsotek's position in the market.
  • To qualify opportunities to ensure that the requirements are deliverable with the current feature-set and within expected timeframes and budgets.
  • To maintain the relationship with existing accounts to secure project expansions and ongoing support contracts.
  • To generate positive PR and documentation around delivered projects and communicate actively with the marketing team.
  • To travel to site/customer visits as needed for the role.
  • To keep documentation and reports up to date and to provide updates to the executive team as required.
  • And any other reasonable task as determined by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical/consultative sales role.
  • Experience in the security industry or relevant IT company (including those working in AI, Cloud, or Cyber Security), or similar.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English including technical writing is essential. Fluency in the local language is also essential. Additional languages relevant to sales in the region highly favoured.
  • Strong, demonstrated presentation and sales skills from previous experience. Ability to sell in person and through remote meetings effectively.
  • Strong IT skills using tools including Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems is essential.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong network within the security industry in Northern Europe (this area may contain, but is not limited to, countries in the; UK, Nordics, Benelux, DACH, etc).
  • Past experience with sales, architecture and development of AI, physical security systems, and/or cyber security.
  • Experience in closing major bids (>£1m) with a small team and trusted partners.
