Business Development Manager - CCTV Surveillance Security, IoT & AI Solutions

Our client is a Global Technology Manufacturer and leading provider of Premium CCTV Video Surveillance Security, IoT and Artifical Intelligence (AI) solutions.

Due to accelerated growth within the UK business, they are looking to recruit an experienced sales professional with responsibility for developing complex solution sales opportunities Nationally.

You will support the UK Head of Sales with the technical business development and strategic growth of the business unit throughout the UK, working with Sales and Marketing teams across the wider product business and IT Service business units to leverage customer reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales strategy and direction for Video Analytics, CCTV and IoT products and services business in the UK,
  • Assist with the development and review of partners and competition and assist with the implementation of the competitive strategy and sales approach,
  • Support and develop the existing extensive customer base into prospects technical leverage and expertise to build new sales pipelines to grow business opportunities for the security business,
  • Gain competitive collateral on competitive ecosystems; pricing and price positioning within the market to aid business generation,
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline,
  • Assist and guide sales/support teams in resolving technically complex issues based on new and existing solutions and procedures to ensure closure of business deals,
  • Perform onsite customer visits and demonstrations as required to secure business opportunities,
  • Accurate forecast demand and provide weekly sales updates,

Experience:

  • Previous experience of leading and establishing a technical new business product/service in the market,
  • A strong influencer and possess an innovative approach,
  • Able to operate autonomously and responsibly,
  • Proven track record of sales achievement against target within the IT systems environment, CCTV and Security integration markets,
  • Demonstrable excellent communication and influential skills up to C level,
  • Able to demonstrate a sound technical understanding and evidence on going personal development in this field of expertise,
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills,
  • Proficient in demonstrating the product portfolio through internal meetings attendance of trade shows and customer meetings,
  • Ability to network, develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
