Financial Controller

Northland Controls are looking for a Financial Controller to join their finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the purpose of this role is to lead all aspects of the EMEA accounting function. Including, establishing appropriate financial controls to mitigate risk and maintain the accuracy of the financial results while complying with GAAP accounting practices.

We are working with Northland Controls a well-respected security integrator who specialise in IP CCTV and access control systems who are looking for a Financial Controller to lead all aspects of the EMEA accounting side. The company have an impressive portfolio of clients which is continually growing, the finance team is well-established and a fantastic team to be part of.

The Role

• Ensure accurate internal and external reporting of financial transactions.
• Manage month-end close and financial reporting process.
• Managing and leading the Group Consolidation Financial Reporting for all three regions
• Present analyses, forecasts and concerns to executives.
• Continually strive to create efficient accounting processes using SAP Business One in collaboration with all internal departments.
• Liaise with operational teams to confirm accurate revenue recognition, and to optimise financial results.
• Lead operational improvement projects within the financial function.
• Other duties as directed by the FD.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA is required.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• 5+ years Accounting and or finance experience is preferred.
• Experience in construction industry accounting is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Previous management experience desirable.
