EMEA Management Accountant

Northland Controls are looking for a Management Accountant to join their busy finance department, based from their HQ in Letchworth, working alongside the other members of the team. This is an opportunity to work in a stunning corporate office environment, with an established team. We are working with Northland Controls and well-respected security integrator who specialise in IP CCTV and Access Control systems. They have a strong and well-established blue-chip client base and operate on a global scale. This role is to be a key member of the finance team to produce accurate monthly management accounts.

The Role:

· Preparation of month end correcting journals, accruals/deferrals, reconciliations, checks and controls within the month end process to ensure accurate financial information.

· Responsible for the Accounts Payable function for both EMEA and AMER.

· Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.

· Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts.

· Lead, manage, guide and motivate a team.

· Working with third party on EU VAT reclaim along with tracking and reporting status.

· Assisting the Financial Controller with global projects and initiatives.

· Undertaking monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.

Requirements:

· ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified

· Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational business environment

· Experience with SAP is highly advantageous to the role

· Must have excellent communication skills
