ID Vertical Account Manager - Education

Our client, a leading global technology manufacturer, is looking to recruit an experience sales professional to join their growing team across Europe.

Responsible for digital signage, professional displays and LED display products and solutions sales throughout Europe, developing business opportunities in the Education Vertical.

Responsibilities:

  • Targeting new business opportunities in the education market, managing K-12 to universities.
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy across Europe, working with customers, both directly and indirectly, with specialised system integrators and / or value added resellers.
  • Identify new demand in the education vertical by key account management and specialised partner networking.
  • Work closely with European Solution Team and Product Planning to adapt products and solutions in line with customer demand and requirements.
  • Actively support and introduce other products from the company, working with specialist Country Sales teams to engage with customers.
  • Support and guide the Country Sales teams throughout Europe to penetrate the education vertical locally by providing presentations, market data and trainings, etc.
  • Define the activity plan to increase presence in the industry events either directly or via partners.
  • Deliver weekly update on activity and opportunity forecast.
  • Role can be located in any Western European country, with around 50% travelling across Europe expected.

Experience:

  • 5 + years’ multi-country sales experience in one of the Education Sub-Verticals (K12 or Universities).
  • Experience gained preferably in the IT / Technology Solutions / AV industry.
  • University Degree and / or MBA could be beneficial.
  • Excellent command of English and in a second European language is required.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop business relationships in C-level.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results driven with proven track record.
  • Solutions focused sales professional.
  • Ability and willingness to travel Europe wide.
