UK Medical Monitors Sales Engineer

Our client, a leading global manufacturer of AV, technology, and electronics products and services, is looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to join their European Healthcare Business Unit.

With demonstrable sales experience targeting healthcare customers, you will develop and drive the sale of the company range of medical imaging devices including medical and surgical monitors, portable X-Ray products, etc.

Develop relationships with key end user customers, as well as industry integrator partners etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and build relationships with key customers (hospitals, key accounts, and OEM partners) throughout the UK.
  • Responsible for new product introductions and sourcing new business opportunities.
  • Manage and support key accounts' sales activities.
  • Take part in main healthcare exhibitions in both the UK and Europe (ECR, MEDICA, JFR, etc.).
  • Develop a short term and long-term pipeline of medical displays and DXD business opportunities.
  • Work with senior leadership team in country, as well as business partners, with sales and marketing strategy targeting healthcare customers.
  • Gather and report market intelligence, i.e., customer specific needs, market trends, competitor intelligence, medical regulations, new product requirements, etc.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling into the Healthcare industry.
  • Excellent understanding of the Healthcare market.
  • Extensive network in this industry and connections with key decision makers.
  • Demonstrable negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to address internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly focused on business targets.
  • Excellent team worker, self-driven and self-motivated.
  • University Degree and/or Master’s in Business Management/Marketing/Engineering or similar would be ideal.
  • Currently located in the UK.
