Business Development Manager - (Locker / Furniture Sector)

Our client is an extremely reputable access control manufacturer within the Fire and Security industry and due to ongoing growth and success they’re looking for an experienced Business Development Managers to come on board and join their team.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity as Salto already have large scale established accounts within this sector which will give you the opportunity to inherit existing accounts aswell as building new business from your own network. You will be fully supported by your line manager with full training provided but ultimately to be successful you will need to be self-motivated, driven and an ambitious individual.

 

You'll be responsible for strategy creation and execution for driving demand in your assigned vertical market. You will need to work closely with marketing to help create demand generation campaigns and monitor/manage their effectiveness. This role will also need to identify and build partnerships with key constituents in the Locker / Furniture Sector. This is a UK (England, Wales, Scotland, NI Ireland) facing  role and  you'll be expected to drive increased revenue into the business.

 

This is a hybrid position which means you will be managing your own diary, out on the road, meeting clients and maintaining relationships. A key part of this role is being comfortable engaging with customers face to face and attending any relevant events within the industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Business Development – Generate new business by selling Salto Value and communicating the Why? Both internally and externally.
  • Grow Partnerships and Integrations to Drive Demand.
  • Present quarterly updates ensuring the UK teams are aware of our presence in this market.
  • Built and maintain LinkedIn profile and update regularly and consistently.
  • Work Closely, and train if needed with all parties (RSM’s, Key account team, Technology partners, etc.) to ensure all can articulate the Salto value in this Vertical.
  • Identify and actively pursue new top 10 key accounts annually.
  • Build pipeline to ensure achievement of yearly objectives and maintain a two-year running forecast.
  • Work closely with key accounts team to ensure we are maximising “turnover share” with our existing key accounts.
  • Create appropriate demand generation campaigns/tactics exist to make your annual revenue target.
  • Leverage opportunities to ensure your effectiveness and visibility into your accounts.
  • Create and manage programs, campaigns, and tactics that generate new customers.
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure appropriate demand generation campaigns/tactics exist to make your annual revenue target.
  • Monitor, manage, and adjust to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Attend tradeshows and learning events that impact the vertical.
  • Build and manage a network of contacts to influence and provide insights into the vertical.
  • Grow Partnerships and Integrations to Drive Demand.
  • Leverage our technology partner to identify opportunities in their channels.
  • Identify and acquire high – growth complimentary products/organizations that align with our growth strategy.
  • Create and communicate mutually beneficial business cases for integrations.
  • Work with Product management to ensure results reflects desired outcome.
  • Engage with our Technical Director and our technology partners to identify and create new opportunities through their channels.

  • £40k basic + Annual bonus (OTE £55K-60K providing you've hit target)
