 Regional Support Manager (RSM) - Northeast - Hybrid Position

Our client is an extremely reputable access control manufacturer within the Fire and Security industry and due to ongoing growth and success they’re looking for an experienced Regional Support Manager to come on board and join their team. Your position within the business is integral and will primarily be a data-driven role that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyse our clients partner performance

 

Your primary role as a Regional Support Manager (RSM) is to support our clients designated partners of all 3 Tiers in the Allocated Region. The RSM is required to oversee activities of the junior and senior professionals that you are responsible for in each of the company’s partners aswell as monitoring the performance of the business as a whole.

 

You’ll be expected to define and communicate the business’s KPIs and targets to your Line Manager on a regular basis, analyse patterns in consumers, market behaviour and subsequently implement data-driven action strategies to consistently optimize the business’s commercial performance.

 

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Assisting to create and maintain budgets and co-ordinate with and report to senior management in the company.
  • Provide a professional representation of the Company to our partner network. You’ll oversee developing weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for our partners in their respective defined regions, examining growth opportunities, enabling improvements, correct product mix development, and taking responsibility for our partners performance against targets.
  • Using your expertise to manage your departmental calendar in regard to trading priorities inclusive of launches, promotions, exclusive and campaign activities for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Introducing new brands and categories to the market via our partners.
  • Establishing and overseeing the adoption of The Businesses vision and values, which forms part of the work culture.
  • Help to deliver an optimized market mix relative to the core target consumers and identify the roadmap that will lead to achievement of the department’s goals as well as the overall goals of the business.
  • Create and implement action plans, incorporate key actions that work to set KPI’s for our partner businesses.
  • Monitor and observe the market via our partners feedback brand and assist to make forecasts, identifying new trends ahead of the curve, hence, offering the business a competitive advantage and keeping it ahead of its competition in the market.
  • The position of a RSM is also highly collaborative and as such you’ll provide product intelligence, for example, product/brand adjacencies, affinities, display rules, conducting trend analysis, and ensuring that these are aligned to support and drive sales and conversion.
  • Work closely with your Line manager in analytics, processing relevant data, information and translating it into actionable strategies that drive sales and lead to achievement of targets. He/she similarly partners with the senior management for administrative purposes, for example, the development of plans, strategies, structure, budget, vision, and establishment of goals for the region.
  • Regional managers do a lot of communicating. This might be in front of a group of employees, or in a meeting with management. Regional managers might be called upon to write reports, recommendations, or reprimands. Great verbal communications and writing skills will help in any of these scenarios.

 

Required

  • Atleast 5 years of working experience in a sales position within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, preferably working in the position of a Sales Type Manager/Account Manager.
  • Proven and successful ability to lead a group of partners towards growth in enhanced sales volumes and enhanced revenue generation, while displaying exceptional skills and confidence.
  • Experience evaluating product/market situations and analysing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable strategies and approaches.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Have a keen interest in conducting research and data-driven insights.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Be comfortable travelling alone.
  • Sales planning skills.

 

 

Remuneration

  • £35-40k basic + variable annual bonus (£55-60k OTE)
