Fire Service Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to join their rapidly growing Fire focused company working across the North East and Yorkshire regions but with occasional visits to their head office in Newcastle. With a team of 70 in total across Engineering, Sales, Admin and Management our client is recognised as a Gent approved and BAFE accredited reputable business with a well structured training matrix to upskill where needed on manufacture training for fire panel as well as FIA units to ensure all are competent to the BSE Regulations. Sites to include Universities, Hospitals, Health care providers, council buildings.

Responsibilities

• Hands on service of Fire alarm systems to include Gent, Advanced, Morley, Kentec, C-tec.
• Offering maintenance and technical support where needed.
• Acting as a point of contact for the client.
• Providing a meticulous and professional service at the highest standards.

Required

• 2 years minimum experience in Fire alarm Engineering.
• Fire alarm panel knowledge to include but not limited to Gent, Notifier Apollo, Hochiki,

• Advanced.
• Exposure to security systems such as Hikvision, Paxton and Galaxy intruder would be
• advantageous as will be involved to support on these systems occasionally.
• The ability to oversee other engineers and support technically where needed.
• Client facing ability to ensure successful delivery of service contracts.

Remuneration

• £30K-£35k plus travel time after 30 mins, plus overtime, standby allowance (Expected earnings £45k +).
