This is a fantastic opportunity for an Engineer looking to further develop their skill set and experience, working as part of a team on large security systems for blue chip corporate clients, with the view to progression to a future Area Supervisors role.

The role is broad, diverse and hands on, providing a key function within the business to support the Area Manager daily duties, accepting responsibility and communicating openly and honestly with senior management.

• Implementing, maintaining and supporting security systems such as Intruder Detection systems, CCTV, Access Management and emergency systems.

• Configuring and troubleshooting security systems

• Carrying out engineering & technical support tasks where required, including ad-hoc emergency support with key clients.

• Assisting the Area manager with a team of engineers, planning, organising and supervising works.

• Mentoring & supporting the regional team with company processes and systems. This will form part of assisting the Area manager with overall company development and culture.

• Completing required project paperwork, commissioning systems and handover documentation with support from the operations manager where required.

• Liaising and communicating with clients, contractors and team on prerequisite requirements and project related issues.

• Surveying small works where required on behalf of the Area Manager.

• Periodic reporting on status of jobs and forecasting resource to the Area manager & Head of Client Delivery.

• Attending onsite site meetings where required, with support from the Area manager.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of five years industry experience in IP Technology, Intruder Detection systems, CCTV, Access Management and emergency systems.
