With a focus on providing high-quality and cost-effective solutions, they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Security Systems Engineer to enhance their team.

The Job: As a Senior Security Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within the security installation team. Your responsibilities will encompass new installations, planned maintenance, and reactive maintenance related to CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems. Your ability to adhere to Security System British/EN Standards, manage projects from inception to completion, and lead a team of engineers will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of Intruder Alarm Systems, IP Surveillance Systems, and Access Control Systems based on schematic drawings and building plans.
• An efficient and methodical execution of installations, ensuring compliance with the detailed scope of works and working drawings.
• Creation of comprehensive commissioning and handover documentation.
• Prioritisation of safety through the maintenance of a secure work environment and a thorough understanding of Health and Safety practices, including risk assessments and safe working procedures.
• Provision of client training and system demonstrations.

Essential skills and experience:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Security role.
• Extensive knowledge of Security Systems, including Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Intercom systems – ideally Hikvision, Axis, Paxton, Honeywell, and Texecom.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in administration, with meticulous attention to accurate and timely documentation.
• Possession of a Full Driving License (subject to inspection for company insurance).
• Successful completion of BS7858 security screening and Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
• Flexibility to work away from home occasionally.

You’ll be working 8 hours a day will Monday to Friday, and 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays).
