Site based Security Installation/Service Engineer - Nottingham

Due to continuous growth, our client who is a Chesterfield based company with a national presence are seeking a site based engineer to work across at a key site in Nottingham. You will be joining a team of 8 other engineers in the North and 5 others in the south of the country.

If required you will be offered both manufacturer and in-house training on Avigilon, Gallagher, Needap.

The Role

• To carry out the installation of the security systems as per the specification given per project to include mainly IP CCTV, Access Control, with some Intruder and Intercoms.
• Full integration of systems, to be able to manage engineer assistants and sub-contract labour as to the necessary tasks to complete the works.
• Working with Hikvision, Axis, Avigilon, Gallagher, Needap and Assa Abloy ARX to name a few.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with the client, contractor and project manager as to the progress of the project and advise of any changes to the specification as directed by them.
• Work with the sub-contractors to ensure works have been completed.
• Hand over the completed systems to the client/contractor with all necessary documentation.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled in correctly and received by the office on a weekly basis.

Remuneration

• £35k- £38k basic salary + overtime, call out, standby allowance and travel time after 30 mins.
• Quarterly bonus and performance bonus taking your overall earning potential to £45k+ per year.
• Hours are 8am – 4.30pm with an hour for lunch.
• 20 Days holiday (increasing to 1 each year until 25 days)
