Technical design Engineer – Electronic Fire & Security Systems

Location: Hampshire and Dorset - Office/Field based

Salary of £40,000- £45,000

Our client, Founded in 1970 as a family-run business, who provide extensive expertise in fire safety and security solutions have ambitious plans for growth and need you!

Due to their continued success in the market, the company are seeking a dynamic individual to lead the charge as a Technical design Engineer/System Surveyor, providing solutions for installation, upgrades and modifications for clients to create the best solution for the clients needs in-line with the NSI and British standards.

This is an ideal opportunity for an established Technical design engineer or an engineer who’s looking to move off the tools into a new role.

In your Role as a Technical design engineer you will be expected to :

• Meet and exceed client requirements in a timely manner
• Provide our clients with a solutions based approach, conducting site surveys, providing a comprehensive design and technical information to ensure successful mobilisation and delivery
• To liaise and work closely with operations and projects to enable your designs to have the best chance of success
• To work independently and as part of a forward thinking team, prepare and deliver precise design solutions and quotations in alignment with our Company's pricing policy and standards of excellence.
• Bring your wealth of industry technical knowledge and experience to the forefront.
• Ability to work on and off the tools where required.

Requirements

• Technical problem solving ability
• Experience or strong understanding of security for commercial, public sector and domestic
• Electronic Security design experience preferable with the capability to compile detailed written specifications, schematics and drawings
• A minimum of 2 years in the industry either in design or engineering
• Must be able to drive and have a full UK D/L
• Must be able to satisfy BS7858 security vetting requirements
• Fire alarm knowledge would be beneficial but not essential

Package:

• Offering a salary of £40,000- £45,000 awaits, depending on your experience, along with company share options and performance related bonus schemes.
• Holiday starting from 28 days including bank holidays, increasing to 33 days over time.
• Car allowance or competitive mileage allowance offered.
• Hybrid remote role based in Hampshire
