Trainee CCTV Security Engineer career opportunity in Dorset. 

This rapidly growing security company is looking for a trainee CCTV Engineer in the Dorset area to assist in installing and servicing CCTV systems for large town centre sites. Full training will be provided on this company's very successful training and development programme.

The Trainee Engineer will be responsible for supporting a Lead Engineer and overseeing a small number of key clients. This will involve the installation and service of electronic security systems (IP CCTV). Many of the accounts will be councils or boroughs, primarily focussing on multi-product, large-scale networked CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

  • You will receive training to be up to speed with Installation, upgrading and small works for integrated CCTV systems.
  • Supporting the Account Engineer and Account Manager as necessary.
  • Keeping clients up to date and satisfied with the service they require.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience of service or maintenance within the electronic security industry, integrating security systems is highly advantageous although other industries with transferrable engineering and/or IT networking skills will also suit.
  • Experience of electronic security within the public sector (e.g. town centres) would be highly desirable.
  • Understanding of IP networking principles is highly desirable.
  • Candidates without experience are welcome to apply.

Package: £22,000 + overtime
