Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Zitko is a leading recruitment agency specialising in recruiting for the Fire and Security industry, based in St Neots in Cambridgeshire. Our team of experienced consultants is dedicated to providing exceptional recruitment services and helping our clients and candidates achieve their goals. As we continue to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as Trainee Recruitment Consultants.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be working in our busy Contract department and will receive full training from our comprehensive induction and training process to help you learn all about recruitment, our sector, clients and candidates. You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and evaluating candidates for job vacancies within our clients' organisations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in recruitment, sales, and relationship building, while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You don’t need previous recruitment experience, and if you have the right attitude and attributes, we can teach you the rest.  You will be proactive, passionate about delivering excellent customer service, have a positive attitude, be resilient and able to overcome obstacles, have great communication skills and be a real team player.  You will have the passion and drive to exceed and smash targets.  A background in customer services, retail or sales would be helpful. 

You will need to live in commuting distance to our office in St Neots.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting candidate searches through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and our internal database
• Reviewing CVs and applications, and conducting initial screening interviews
• Building relationships with candidates and guiding them through the recruitment process
• Collaborating with senior consultants to understand client requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
• Proactively sourcing and engaging with potential candidates through networking and direct approaches
• Assisting in arranging interviews and coordinating the hiring process
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our database
