What’s your elevator pitch?
I became a Recruitment Resourcer in 2018 and I joined Zitko at the end of 2020. I love the sector and enjoy helping and supporting people with the first step of their next journey.
What do you do every day?
I source candidates from within the UK and Ireland. I liaise with candidates that are on a job search within the sector. Or even a career change. I also engage with candidates, with transferable skills, who might want to join the sector.
I screen CV's – looking for the perfect fit for a specific job role is important. It’s my job to have the initial conversation with the candidate and make sure I capture what their job role needs are.
I particularly enjoy working collaboratively with our consultants to support the candidate in their next fire and security journey. The best part of my job is building solid relationships with our candidates so they remember us.
Who are you interested in talking to?
Anyone who has a genuine interest in the sector and has skills that match. Or transferable skills and an interest in joining the fire and security industry.
What do you like to do for fun?
I have swapped a love for running for the PT sessions provided by Zitko! I enjoy spending time with family and friends and reading- anything about mental health – Ruby Wax is a fave. I also love walking my dog, Honey.
