My client is recruiting for a Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their motivated and successful team. You will be responsible for delivering PPM servicing, repairs, and maintenance of life safety systems while ensuring health & safety compliance. Each day will bring a new challenge, working within a small area and engaging with clients to uphold exceptional customer service standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous Fire Alarm Experience with knowledge of analogue addressable and conventional systems

• FIA training (or equivalent) to BS5839-1 Fundamentals

• Understanding of BS5839 (Parts 1 & 6)

• IT literacy and strong communication skills

• Full UK Driving License

• A flexible approach, working a minimum of 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri), with opportunities to earn significantly more through overtime and out-of-hours call-outs

Your Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems (BS5839-1), emergency lighting, Nurse Call & Access Control

• Complete engineer service reports and identify system deficiencies

• Conduct emergency lighting system checks and maintain associated safety equipment

• Maintain van stock and liaise with procurement for replenishments

• Ensure Health & Safety compliance and report any risks

• Achieve first-time fixes wherever possible
