CCTV Monitoring Station Manager - Wiltshire

Job Title: Monitoring Station ManagerLocation: Chippenham, WiltshireSalary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year (dependent on experience)Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 (flexibility required to support a 24/7 shift-based team)

Overview:A growing security services provider is seeking an experienced and proactive Monitoring Station Manager to lead its 24/7 control room operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional looking to take ownership of a critical function within a dynamic business offering long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a 24/7 monitoring team working on a 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern

• Oversee all alarm and CCTV monitoring activities

• Ensure incidents and alerts are handled swiftly, logged accurately, and escalated appropriately

• Maintain compliance with NSI standards and internal company procedures

• Identify and implement process and technology improvements

• Liaise with internal departments, clients, and emergency services as needed

• Support and develop control room staff to ensure high performance and service delivery

Requirements:

• Experience in a monitoring station, ARC, or similar security control room environment

• Proven leadership and team management skills

• Strong communication and decision-making abilities

• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management

• Ability to work under pressure and provide support across shifts

• Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices

• Experience with CCTV systems or within a monitoring suite is highly desirable
