We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Resource Coordinator to join our operations team. This is a key role responsible for scheduling and coordinating engineering resources across both service and project delivery functions. Acting as the central liaison between operations, support, and project teams, you’ll ensure resources are planned effectively, schedules are accurate, and business priorities are always supported.
Manage and maintain the central engineering resource calendar across service and project functions.
Coordinate daily, weekly, and long-term engineer bookings based on skills, certifications, and availability.
Liaise with internal teams to understand requirements and align resource coverage accordingly.
Monitor engineer availability, leave, and capacity, highlighting gaps or surpluses.
Track compliance of engineering certifications, training, and readiness for assignments.
Support onboarding of new engineers and subcontractors, ensuring schedules and documentation are up to date.
Act as the central point of contact for all resourcing queries.
Assist with operational reporting, timesheet tracking, and general administrative duties.
Previous experience in scheduling, coordination, or operational support, ideally in a technical or service-led environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Confident user of Excel, Outlook, and scheduling tools.
Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
Experience within engineering, technical services, or a related industry.
Familiarity with resource planning and workforce management practices.
Experience liaising with subcontractors or third-party resource providers.
