Rachel is joining Zitko from a sales and hospitality background after completing her integrated Masters in Zoology from the University of Leeds. Rachel is now a Marketing Assistant and has been throwing herself into learning about Zitko’s marketing strategy, sharing ideas and getting fully stuck into our processes. 

When asked why she wanted to join Zitko, Rachel said, “I spent a lot of time browsing job vacancies and the advert in indeed caught my eye. The company seemed really warm, welcoming, and the advertisement of an opportunity for marketing for no experience is extremely rare. I applied as I love to learn something new and felt that Zitko could really support me in doing that.” Already Rachel is discovering the variation and quick pace that define marketing and she’s really enjoying that aspect of her role, particularly in a completely different industry.

Although marketing can be very demanding, there is always time to unwind and do something for yourself, especially with Zitko’s flexitime policy. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys horse riding and cooking, trying out different recipes from a variety of cultures.
