If you’re handy with tools, are a good problem-solver and most of all really love tech, we can give you the key to an amazing career.
The programme is a partnership of employers, tech companies, accredited training providers, industry bodies and us, Zitko Talent. We’ll be coordinating your programme.
It’s a 12-month course and believe us, it’ll be intense! It packs in around 125 hours’ foundation training, up to 160 hours’ product training and a proper, hands-on job.
To be clear, you won't be paying a penny for your training. In fact, you’ll be earning up to £30,000 as you work and learn full-time.
Here’s what’s on offer:
By the end of the programme you’ll be a skilled installation engineer, working on projects regionally, nationally and/or internationally.
You’ll be paid £30,000 per year as you train, and you won’t pay a penny for your course.
You could be in another line of work but looking for a change. Or you may have lost your job. What’s certain is you get a buzz from technology, you’re handy with tools and you’d like nothing more than a well-paid career as an engineer (with plenty of travel thrown in).
Maybe you build your own computers. Or you do your own DIY. Perhaps you service your own car or bike. Are a keen amateur programmer. Or there’s some technical stuff in your job and you’d really like to do more.
If we’re talking about you, then here’s something to explore: fast track entry into the security tech industry, with a year’s free training and a salaried job from day one.
Talented engineers can progress very fast and there are clear routes into senior technical and leadership positions.
Installation’s a great place to gain broad experience too. As you progress you might well be supervising contractors or junior team members, helping with project planning and dealing with customers.
Later on, that could open up new career paths, say into project management, commissioning and test, or the PC/networking side. What’s more, you can practice your skills around the world. A lot of our employer partners operate internationally and there’s a worldwide shortage of engineers.
If you love programming, mechanics, building, electronics, inventing, model-making or any kind of tech, you’re going to love this. The Zitko Talent programme starts with a year’s training, in a paid job with a quality employer.
