My client is a market leader in the fire & safety security sector. Based in north Dublin, they are expanding again and require a business development manager. This is an Irish owned company who have been in the fire and security system business for over 20 years.

 

The successful candidates MUST have fire and security experience but will be rewarded with a fantastic employment package.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Regular reporting on sales activity and all issues involving the sales team to the Sales Operation Manager
  • Represent the company, its values and services.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of responsibility.
  • Meet or exceed agreed upon sales targets for revenue & margin.
  • Ambitious with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Complete understanding of pricing by business market/segment.
  • Maximise all opportunities in your sales pipeline.
  • A quick thinker with strong negotiation skills
  • Develop a personal network and source qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, and networking.
  • Be the Consultant - make recommendations to prospects and
  • clients of the various solutions the company offers to meet their business needs.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in company CRM including sales calls, emails, meetings, closed deals.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and ensures that they are communicated and implemented.
  • Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction by building trust, communicating effectively, drive.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Fire and security systems sales is essential.
  • Implementing and managing agreed sales process from initial contact through to closing.
  • Relationship building and business networking.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Lead development, margin management, revenue forecasting.
  • Ability to develop and build bespoke solutions to existing and new customers.
  • Time Management and self-organised.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • A passion for Sales
  • A can-do attitude
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Microsoft Suite.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and sales targets.
  • Ability to identify and develop strong relationship with key decision makers.
  • Requires an impressive track record of delivering volume sale in a business environment.
  • A quick thinker with strong negotiation skills
  • Ambitious with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Must have full driving licence.
