Are you an experienced Account Manager and sales driven professional working within the fire and security industry? Covering the Northwest region, we have an amazing opportunity for someone to inherit a huge amount of existing key accounts, working with Electrical Wholesales and Installers of Fire systems. We will consider applicants that are working in a different sales field, and also engineers in the fire and security industry who are keen to move into the commercial field where you will be financially rewarded and offered progression routes long term. 

 

You will work for a distributor who specialise in the supply of fire detection and life safety equipment who supply to customers across the UK and Internationally.

 

You will be joining a small knit team that really enjoy the environment they have created, but you will be working for a much larger billion pound profit sharing organisation, this provides excellent stability and the company are known for providing their employees with brilliant progression paths which are achievable and highly rewarding. You’ll fine the main benefit of working for this smaller company is when you’re taking quotes/sales to the managers, you do not have red tape and long lead times, decisions are made really quickly and this is a fast paced and extremely rewarding role.

 

As a Regional Sales Manager you will support the growth of the Northwest Region. The role will look after existing business, seeking out opportunities for growth as well as driving new business sales. You will inherit already successful key accounts, this is a quality lead position and you will enjoy providing excellent customer service and nurturing existing relationships whilst growing those too.

 

The ideal candidate should have following experience and skills:

  • Proven track record in sales and/or account management.
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • A proven self-starter with a driven attitude to achieve sales targets.
  • Ability to identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
  • Experience working within the fire industry would be ideal but not essential.
  • Technical knowledge is ideal but not essential.
