Zitko Group has recently undergone a major shift in its structure, combining our Sales, Technical and Managed Service divisions into one streamlined Client Services division. This restructure has enabled us to consolidate our processes and ensure a more efficient service offering to our clients, providing them with both new and existing talent solutions that we may have otherwise been unable to do if not for the improved communication across divisions. Already the measures have provided great results as our staff continue to be energised by the fantastic feedback they have been receiving. It has been a while since the restructure was implemented, so we thought it would be a good time to chat with two of our Directors, Dave Geddes and Tim Ward, about this shift in direction for the company and what it has meant for their own roles within Zitko.

 

What has the restructure meant for your role and what does it entail?

Dave

I am the Commercial Director, meaning I am in charge of selling the full suite of Zitko Group’s solutions and developing commercial partnerships with the fire and security industry. In a practical sense, this means I am usually building our brand at exhibitions, networking at awards ceremonies and other major events in the sector’s calendar and I provide support to the Zitko staff with their client meetings.

Tim

As Client Services Director, I am responsible for customer success within our permanent recruitment and key account product solutions.

 

What improvements have been made as a result of the restructuring?

Tim

The most obvious would be how much more unified and efficient we are. Bringing the team together under one leadership structure in this way has seen increased communication, a greater sense of a ‘one team’ culture and in turn, increased our alignment to existing and new clients. It has also made the process of cross selling services to new and existing clients much more simple.

Dave

To build on that, I would say that because of how much more streamlined our processes are, new clients have been brought on board with immediate success. This wasn’t always a given with our previous structure so it is reassuring to know how well it is serving not just us but the clients, too.

 

What are you most looking forward to with your current role?

Dave

Working with the team on client strategy and building ongoing relationships has already been incredibly productive so I’m looking forward to more of this collaboration and the great results that accompany it. I also think getting to know some clients I have not dealt with previously and selling the full Zitko portfolio is a huge step for the business and I am really proud to be leading that.

Tim

Creating opportunities for the team to develop and increase their capability has already taught me so much about how much we can achieve as effective collaborators. With that in mind, I am really looking forward to finding out how many more ways we can be successful beyond this embryonic stage. Talking to new and existing clients about the services we can provide beyond recruitment and across our talent solutions products is also something that I’m looking forward to.
