Join a dynamic and rapidly growing team as a Fire & Security Engineer based in Newcastle. Our client specialise in Fire alarms,Access control, CCTV, Intruder alarms, Door entry systems, and more. Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing of Access control systems, CCTV, Intruder alarms, Fire alarms, Door entry systems, and Barrier alarms.
  • Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure systems are in optimal working condition.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to clients.
  • Participating in on-call rotation, with one week of on-call duty every six weeks, including a day off every other week.
  • Occasional travel to Carlisle and Durham for client appointments and projects.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Servicing Access control, CCTV, and Intruder alarms.
  • Familiarity with door entry systems and tagging barrier alarms is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Fire systems is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when required.

 

Remuneration

  • Location: Newcastle, with occasional travel to Carlisle and Durham.
  • Permanent, Full-Time
  • Monday to Friday
  • On-call Rotation: 1 in 6 
  • Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)
  • Overtime paid at time and a half.
  • Additional day of holiday every year of service
  • 22 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays (plus an extra holiday day each year you’re with them)
