Senior Fire Fault and Commissioning Engineer - London & Home Counties

Job Title: Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning EngineerLocation: London & Home CountiesSalary: Basic £40,000 to £45,000 (door to door travel)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fire Fault & Commissioning Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, for the London and Home Counties 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the day-to-day onsite and technical lead for fire and life safety operations, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.
• Lead the commissioning of fire alarm systems (from 20 devices to 500+ networked panels), ensuring full compliance and accurate documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across a variety of fire alarm systems using advanced technical knowledge and experience.
• Utilise specialised software to configure and commission systems including complex cause & effect programming.
• Support the growth of the engineering team through on-site technical coaching and collaboration on structured development plans with the Engineering Manager.
• Serve as a key technical resource for the engineering team and wider business, ensuring compliance with current industry regulations and standards.
• Provide expert on-site support for service-related issues, building strong client relationships and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Establish, maintain and audit high-quality control standards across all engineering activities. Implement corrective actions where required

• High level of technical knowledge within fire and life safety, minimum five years experience 
• Experience servicing, fault finding and commissioning, core systems - Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley and Kentec
